Building Engineers and Mentors (BEAM)

About BEAM

Building Engineers and Mentors (BEAM) is a group that was created to provide K-12 students with engaging activities that promote interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This organization was originally founded at UC Berkeley in 2008, and later launched a sister chapter at UCLA during the 2010-2011 school year.

Our core values are passion, diversity, and leadership. We believe that community service builds strong, empathetic leaders.
